Founders Glenn and Debby Lamb opened their first business in Sahuarita in 1983. That company, Lamb Excavation, laid the foundation needed to expand into the aggregate producing business in 2003. Lamb Rock was officially opened as the DBA for L&L Trucking.

Unlike many aggregate producers, our materials are produced during reclamation. At the former Anamax mine site, now Twin Buttes properties, we are taking 30 years of overburden tailings and reject materials and generating a much needed supply of aggregates for the construction community.

With our newest reclamation project in Vail, Arizona, Lamb is continuing our reclamation efforts and providing aggregates and rock from this location. Some of those applications have been federal/state border fence projects, railroad erosion and flooding projects and repairs, county washes and roads, streets, and infrastructure work.

Our commitment to customer service has been first and foremost in our success. At Lamb Rock, we know the difference one day makes and have made a practice of extending production hours, opening on Saturdays and Sundays and even starting a night shift to accommodate intense production by Kiewit/Sundt on the I-10 widening project.
